What is a pets requirements for flights within the United States?
Hi. I am not a Vet but have flown with both dogs and cats. Yes any health document on immuzination is important. However if you register the dog as a service dog ( get a md note or therapist note stating such) the U.S. airlines won't charge you and might I suggest if small keep the dog /cat with you on your lap or under your legs in your seat if at all possible. The altitude may hurt their ears so buy them a mild travel motion sickness pill. ( Google what is acceptable dosage for your pets size.) Have water bowl and newspaper or wee pads in the pet bag for them as you probably will change it a few times. Best of luck.
